A great day in Boise

Oct. 10, 09
Today we spent a great day in Boise! We went to watch Brayden play football, but also had the exciting surprise of seeing Chance come home with his first deer. Boy, was he excited! Bart excitedly gave us the play by play report. It was fun to be there.

We loved watching Brayden play football. What an arm he has! He threw several long passes. He looked great out there. I wish we could be there for every game. If we lived closer we would be. I love those boys!

My pictures

Okay, I'm just getting used to this blogging. I wanted my pictures to be below my first post. Oh well, I don't know how to change it. The first picture is one that I took for my photography class. I know, it's kind of funny, my feet, but we were supposed to take creative pictures.

The second one is the flagship post for my blog. It's just me in the middle of the roses in the back yard. They were so pretty, so I had my picture taken with them.

I'm starting this blog so that I can stay more in touch with my family. So, I hope they visit it!

Today is my "stay at home"day. It's the only day this week that I can relax and read some new books, do my art work and just enjoy myself. So, I spent some time doing some drawing. I'm drawing flowers right now. There's so much to learn! It seems like I have to redraw practically every line, but I get it in the end. I'm determined to do some drawing every day. Hopefully, it'll get easier for me.

I just made some zucchini bread and I'm going to take to a few sisters, then go out and pick up some apples from Yorty's. It's time for my fall apple project. I haven't made apple dumplings yet this year. I can't let a year go by without them! Maybe I'll make them on Friday and take some to Bart and Ross. We're going to Boise for Brayden's game on Saturday.
